In the song "You Were Right," Built to Spill's Doug Martsch reaffirms what various other lyricists have written throughout the rock era, from "manic depression's a frustrating mess" to "all we are is the dust in the wind." Basically, pretty much every songwriter turns out to have been right, except Bob Marley, who's repeatedly denounced as wrong. It's a provocative theory, but we won't get into it here, because while it tangentially relates to this week's "Right/Wrong" theme, the SA Forum Goons have made movie things instead of music things.
