This 2011 BuzzFeed offering is possibly the laziest of their Memorial Day food articles. It features fifteen pictures of red, white, and blue desserts. These are not named and there are no links to recipes or even credit for the photographs. One of the images doesn't even load. But thanks for a picture of a fucking Rice Crispie treat. I'm sure all the guys frozen into the mud at the Chosin Reservoir appreciate the effort.
"In honor of Memorial Day," writes Ashley Baccam in an article marked as "a personal, non-sponsored post by a member of BuzzFeed's ad content team." Ad content team? I can't wait to see what sort of non-sponsored content they deliver. Sounds EPIC and WIN to me. Do want. These tattoo pictures ought to drum up some clicks. Let the people writing your insidious ad copy that you hide among your articles also write your regular shitty articles. And by write, I mean post pictures in a list. That should accelerate identity formation/dissolution.
