Back in 2004, forums member KittyLitter launched a Lord of the Rings-related Photoshop thread with the best of intentions and the worst of starter images. The resulting Goldmine reveled in an intentionally bad aesthetic. With prequel The Hobbit in theaters soon, Sir_Lagsalot figured it was time for a new Tolkien-based theme. His opening efforts were actually solid, but some of the follow-ups were purposefully shoddy, out of respect for tradition. Yeah, that's how I'll spin it.
